Data Driven Leadership. We live in an era where facts and fiction are hardly distinguishable from each other. A leader must be vigilant to use data driven decisions (what I call the DDD of leadership) to lead his/her organization or team. Ultimately, “fake facts” cannot survive the bright glare of factual data supported leadership and the competitive edge always goes to the leader who supports their leadership with “factual facts”! Some of this presentation comes form my lectureship when I teach Quantitative Analysis for Organizational Leadership.

Good Followers Make Good Leaders. The paradox of powerful leadership is that to lead powerfully you must learn how to follow purposefully.

A leader who can’t follow can’t teach others to follow. Being a good follower creates the empathy leaders need to connect at a deep level with their followers. I show how organizational effectiveness can be improved significantly when leaders improve their “followership” skills.

I talk about how a leader can become a “purposeful follower” as a way to 3X the impact of their leadersip!
