Sometimes a discussion of sabbath observance can get polarizing. There are some who have a more liberal approach to Sabbath observance and others with a more conservative approach.

The conversation about sabbath observance usually focuses on the question of work and activities that involve too much work, which in some people’s opinions and interpretations of Exodus 20: 2-11, defiles or breaks the Sabbath.
